Visit Santorini highlights on a 6-hour private tour in a Sprinter Mercedes minibus. View Santorini Caldera, Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani, Mt Prophet Ilias, Pyrgos, Megalochori, Akrotiri, Red Beach, Black Beach and Venetsanos Winery. Your private guide will give you luminous information about all of these places; through interesting stories not only can you visualize generously the glorious past of the island but also get a thorough insight of modern Santorini on a cheerful way!
After meeting up with your guide, the trip starts with a stop at a breathtaking spot in the famous Santorini Caldera where you will be introduced to its history and its unique landscape.
Continue through the beautiful Santorini countryside to the village of Oia. Built in the northern part of the caldera rim. Oia is the most photographed location in Santorini and a place where many artists have found their inspiration in Oia’s beauty, the traditional architecture, and the amazing sunset.
You will visit the village of Imerovigli, situated on a higher cliff with an incredible view. In front of the village is an enormous rock called Skaros, which used to be the best spot to look out for pirates.
On the way, we’ll make a short stop in Firostefani to see the famous Blue Dome Church, the subject of so many Santorini’s postcards.
Then, you will make your way to the peak of Prophet Ilias, the highest mountain that stands some 2,000 feet (600 meters) above the sea. Be amazed by the island vistas around you (360 degrees), and then follow your guide inside the ornate Greek Christian monastery perched at the mountain’s summit.
From here you will proceed to the village of Pyrgos, the old capital, where you will take a guided walk along narrow paths to the ruins of the Venetian castle.
Explore the myths and legends of Santorini, discovering the Akrotiri Excavations, a prehistoric Bronze Age city, frozen in time by ash that fell during the Minoan volcanic eruption 3600 years ago. Some speculate that this is the origin of the mythical city of Atlantis.
Admire the elaborate drainage system, sophisticated multi-storied buildings, magnificent wall painting, and excavated furniture and vessels that show the former settlement’s great prosperity. Visitors are welcome to explore the archaeological site of Akrotiri at their own pace.
Next, you will head over to admire the Red and Black beaches. Enjoy a few minutes at the famous Red Beach. Located only some steps away from the ancient site of Akrotiri, it is covered with red volcanic sand and offers an amazing view. The Black Beach of Perivolos is the largest beach on Santorini and is covered with a black volcanic pebble. Take in the spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and the nearby islands. Enjoy an optional lunch at a seaside restaurant.
Our next stop is at a traditional Winery Venetsanos, where you will learn the secrets of winemaking and enjoy the tastes of the famous local wines.
The tour ends at your Hotel or at the cable car terminal, in Fira for Cruise Ship guests.

Our family had an amazing tour of the highlights of Santorini with knowledgeable, warm and friendly guide Kristina and driver Spiros who both spoke fluent English. They were great fun, teaching us basic Greek words and phrases. We traveled in a comfortable, large air-conditioned van, and they created a custom tour for us. They brought us to a great restaurant for lunch at the black sand beach. Highly recommend this tour, logistics were easy – easy booking, highly worth every penny.

Took a tour with Santorini Unique Experience Tour and we all really loved it. The tour guide Konstantinos explained everything so well and he was so friendly and welcoming. They even modified the itinerary to fit us and how we wanted to do it, even giving us some extra time here and there. Overall a lovely trip that I highly recommend to anybody who only has a few hours to see everything.

Our drive Alex and tour guide Stefanos were great and we enjoyed the tour. They showed us some areas we would not have otherwise know about. Highly recommended!
